Small Block Ford 347 C.I. Engine

The BluePrint Engines Universal AM Small Block Ford 347 C.I. Long Block Crate Engine (BP3479CT) delivers a significant power upgrade with 415 horsepower and 415 ft-lbs of torque. It is built upon a NEW high-strength cast iron block, featuring increased deck thickness and strength webbing for enhanced durability under demanding conditions. The engine's priority main oiling system ensures critical components remain well-lubricated, while the 4-bolt main and 1-piece rear main seal contribute to its longevity. The rotating assembly is engineered for performance, with a 3.400" stroke, forged 5.400" connecting rods, and forged pistons, all externally balanced at 28oz. Complementing the robust block and internals are BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads (HP9009) with 60cc chambers, 2.02" intake valves, and 1.60" exhaust valves, designed to maximize airflow and performance. The engine utilizes a hydraulic roller cam with .543 intake / .554 exhaust lift and 218 intake / 226 exhaust duration. This long block engine includes a front sump oil pan, valve covers, and a timing cover. It's important to note that the timing cover is designed exclusively for standard rotation water pump and pulley kits. Additionally, this engine is intended for use on pre-pollution controlled vehicles, specifically 1965 and older U.S. manufactured California certified vehicles, and 1967 and older U.S. manufactured federally certified vehicles.
