Small Block Ford Single Charger Kit

The TorqStorm Small Block Ford Single Charger Kit provides a significant power upgrade for 1970-1986 Ford 302 engines featuring a 4-bolt dampener. This comprehensive kit includes the TorqStorm Billet Supercharger, along with all essential components for installation, such as couplers, clamps, a blow-off valve (BOV) and tube, an air filter, a carburetor hat, and all necessary brackets, pulleys, and hardware. This supercharger system is engineered to deliver substantial performance enhancements, capable of 40-50% gains over stock output at 6-8 lbs of boost, and can support up to 700 horsepower on many applications. Additional vehicle-specific components are required for a complete installation, including a blow-through carburetor or throttle body injection system, an electronic fuel pump with adequate pressure support, a 1:1 boost-referenced fuel pressure regulator, and an ignition system capable of timing retardation under boost, such as the MSD BTM 6462. The use of premium fuel is also necessary when operating with boost. Installation notes indicate that the kit is intended for use on 1975 or older vehicles and is not compatible with motor vehicle pollution control devices or systems. While primarily designed for 1970-1986 engines, it can also fit 1970 and earlier 289 and 302 engines with a 4-bolt dampener, provided the cylinder heads have accessory bolt holes; verification is recommended before purchase. Intercooling is advised for non-carbureted setups, and a bung for water-meth injection is included. Serpentine drive kits are configured for reverse rotation water pumps.
