Description

The Roadmaster Inc. 780-12 is a bulk pack of twelve Smart Diodes designed for wiring towed vehicles with multiplex lighting and incandescent bulbs. These diodes prevent the backflow of current, protecting the electrical systems of both the towed vehicle and the RV from potential damage to computer modules. Smart Diodes modify the voltage from the motorhome to correctly light up the intended taillight signals on the towed vehicle, ensuring proper function and appearance.

These diodes can also be used in place of regular diodes. They are beneficial because only two Smart Diodes are required per vehicle, compared to the four typically needed for traditional diodes. The product features an aluminum heat sink to prevent overheating and is encased in epoxy for protection against the elements.
