Smart Lightweight Starter Battery

The LITEBLOX LB20XX is a versatile, high-performance starter battery housed in a thermally and mechanically decoupled Carbon Fibre casing with an integrated bracket. It features intelligent electronics with an active kill-switch, engineered and built by hand in Germany. This battery offers a significant weight saving of 15-20kg compared to standard OEM starter batteries (35-55Ah capacity). Key features include plug-and-play replacement for almost any production car, a wireless interface for data monitoring via a smartphone app, and maintenance-free operation due to its intelligent BMS system that protects against over/undervoltage, over/undertemperature, overcurrent, and short circuits. The innovative electronics allow for kill-switch functionality via a smartphone app in two modes: I.K.O.S. (Intelligent Kill-Operation-Switch) for effective disconnection due to overload or via smartphone, and A.V.A.T. (Active Vehicle Anti Theft) which instantly shuts down the battery at any theft attempt. This battery utilizes the latest premium cell technology (LithiumWerks ANR26650M1B V3) and supports rapid charging, making it optimal for start-stop systems. It has a marginal self-drain rate when not in use (sitting time >200 days with I.K.O.S. active). It is fail-safe due to its innovative concept and premium materials. Tested in professional motorsport, it is FIA approved for Formula 3 and Motorsport-UK registered. The LB20XX is suitable for 4-8 cylinder engines (2500-4000ccm) and for daily driven cars with parking periods of 2-4 weeks. Important application notes: For use in applications with intelligent battery management (IBS/IAC), battery programming is mandatory. For vehicles from 2019 where the car battery cannot be programmed to the ECU, a special IBS adapter is mandatory. For applications with a regenerative brake system, the LB28XX model is recommended. For BMW F-series (M3/M4) vehicles, the OEM battery cable of the BMW M2 must be used (IBS 61219117877). This battery is not suitable for vehicles with intelligent alternator control (IBS/IAC); for such applications, larger models like LB20XX or LB28XX should be used.
