The Mid City Engineering SKSNG205D4 SmartKey Starter® is an advanced remote start system specifically engineered for Mercedes-Benz C Class (2015-2018) and GLC (2016-2019) models equipped with Keyless Start or Keyless Go (push-button start). This system integrates seamlessly with your factory key fob, allowing you to start your vehicle using the panic button or a 'lock-unlock-lock' sequence, eliminating the need for an extra remote. This system offers several advanced features, including smartphone control compatibility with Compustar Drone and Directed Smart Start, enabling remote operation from your phone. It also supports extended range remote controls from Directed or Compustar. For added comfort, the system can automatically activate heated seats, cooled seats, and the rear defroster based on programmable outside temperature thresholds. Programmable settings for run time, temperature thresholds, light flashes, timer start, and sensor sensitivity can be adjusted directly from the steering wheel controls. Installation of the SKSNG205D4 requires an extra key and an EIS jumper modification, with professional installation recommended. It is noted that this kit is not compatible with non-PTS (Push to Start) vehicles. The system is built with industry-leading, automotive-rated components for maximum reliability and comes with a 4-year warranty.
