smartTOP Convertible Top Controller

The Mods4Cars smartTOP module for the Porsche 911 (992) Convertible and Targa enhances your vehicle's existing capabilities through seamless electronic integration. This module allows for convenient operation of your convertible top and windows, adding a new level of functionality and comfort. Key features of the STHBPE3 module include one-touch convertible top operation, enabling the top to open or close automatically. You can also operate the top while driving at low speeds (Targa up to 15 km/h), and the top convenience mode ensures that turning the ignition on or off does not interrupt ongoing convertible top operations. The module also provides remote control for opening and closing the convertible top using your factory key fob, as well as separate control for raising and lowering the windows without activating the top. Further customization options are available, such as programmable window positions after top opening, keyless top control (requires keyless entry option), and optional hazard signal activation during remote top operation. The module also supports automatic operation for the wind deflector and includes a signature blinker setup menu for personalized function configuration. For moments when factory operation is preferred, a passive mode can be activated, and a valet mode allows you to lock the top in the closed position. The STHBPE3 is designed for easy installation with a reversible plug-in design, meaning it can be removed without leaving a trace, making it suitable for leased vehicles. The module comes with a custom plug-in wiring harness for a simple and quick installation. Additionally, a USB port allows for easy setup and updates using a Mac or PC. The module meets E13 Certification standards and operates with a standby power draw of less than 0.1mA.
