This piston utilizes an aluminum alloy high in silicon for increased strength, scuff resistance, and seizure resistance. It offers improved groove wear and is resistant to cracking in the crown area. The piston includes a coated skirt and requires shallow rings. It is sold individually and includes a wrist pin and wrist pin retainers, but not piston rings.
