Description

The United Engine & Machine Co S3118H.020 is a hypereutectic piston designed for Ford Inline 6-Cylinder engines. It features a 4-inch bore diameter and a dish-top crown with a volume of +25cc, offering compression ratios of 8.3:1 or 8.7:1 depending on cylinder head volume. This piston is constructed from a cast 390 hypereutectic alloy, known for its strength and resistance to scuffing, seizure, and crown cracking.

With a compression height of 1.778 inches, this piston utilizes a press-type, offset pin configuration and comes with a 12-month warranty. The ring sizes are 5/64, 5/64, and 3/16, with a top land of .266 inches. Silvolite recommends a 40% increase in listed top ring end gap when using their hypereutectic pistons due to their lower thermal expansion rate.
