The Black Ops Auto Works Sniper Hood is engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for 2011-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 models, specifically including SRT and Trackhawk variants. It is explicitly noted that this hood excludes EcoDiesel models. The hood is designed with a functional sniper scoop to enhance engine cooling and provide a ram-air effect, while maintaining perfect fitment by utilizing factory hinges, latch, and striker. Available in three premium configurations – full fiberglass (BOAW-HD11JPGC-SF), carbon fiber outer with fiberglass inner (BOAW-HD11JPGC-SFC), or full carbon fiber inner and outer (BOAW-HD11JPGC-SC) – this one-piece design not only combines aggressive styling but also offers significant weight reduction, saving 5-8 lbs from the front end. This contributes to enhanced acceleration and handling capabilities, making it ideal for high-performance builds. Key features include a UV-safe gel coat finish on carbon versions for a mirror shine that resists yellowing and fading, and compatibility with factory OEM vents (vents are not included and must be purchased separately).
