The Dobinsons snorkel kit (SN59-3374) is designed to elevate your vehicle's air intake, providing crucial protection against water ingress during river crossings and reducing dust intake in arid conditions. This raised air intake system draws cleaner, cooler air from a higher point on the vehicle, which can contribute to optimal engine performance and longevity. Constructed from durable, UV-resistant linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), this snorkel is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The manufacturing process utilizes precision CNC-shaped aluminum dies for rotational molding, ensuring a tailored and accurate fit for specific vehicle models. This kit comes complete with a comprehensive installation package, including a fitting template, detailed instructions, and all the necessary mounting hardware to facilitate a straightforward installation. It is important to note that this snorkel kit does not include a replacement hose clamp and does not provide any specialty tools required for installation. The Dobinsons SN59-3374 snorkel is specifically designed for the 1985 to 2007 (Narrow Front) 70 Series Toyota Land Cruisers, including the 70, 71, 73, 74, 75, 78, and 79 Series variants. It is compatible only with the 4.0L Diesel and 4.0L Gas/Petrol engines. Fitment to any vehicle or engine not matching this description is not recommended by Dobinsons and will void the return and warranty policy.
