The Speed of Air SOA Piston Kit (XA7201) is engineered for Cummins 6.7L I6 24V ETJ/ETK engines manufactured between 2007 and 2018. This kit utilizes Speed of Air's patented technology, which includes a thermal barrier-coated crown and an M42 skirt coating. The pistons are paired with a Total Seal 2nd Ring and are available in standard bore, 0.50mm, and 1.0mm oversizes, with options for gapless or standard ring sets. Users can expect increased torque, horsepower, reduced emissions, and significantly improved fuel efficiency, with documented fuel savings of up to 25 percent or more. Beyond fuel economy, these pistons also contribute to extending engine life and reducing service intervals, including decreased ReGen cycles and DEF usage, and a reduction in visible exhaust opacity. The product specifications include a bore of 4.212 inches (107mm) and a stroke of 4.882 inches (124mm). The compression height is 2.734 inches (69.5mm), with a crown volume of +51.4cc, resulting in a compression ratio of 17.2:1. The floating pin has a diameter of 1.575 inches (40mm), and the ring pack consists of 2.87K, 2.5mm, and 3.46mm sizes. The OE assembly number is 4938619, and the compatible year range for this specific kit is 2007-2013.
