Description

The Demco 11993 is a reverse lockout solenoid designed for hydraulic surge brake actuators. This solenoid prevents trailer brakes from engaging when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, keeping them disengaged while backing up. It features a non-bypass style for reliable performance and a durable, time-tested design.

The solenoid has a 1/8" NPT male thread and a 3/8x24 inverted flare female thread. It utilizes a two-wire, non-polarized system that connects to the vehicle's reverse circuit and a ground. This unit mounts directly into the back of the master cylinder or an adapter block.
