The Soler Engineering SE8223-103 Premium Modified High-Performance Throttle Body is engineered for serious LTX power builds that demand maximum airflow, rapid throttle response, and stable drivability. With an effective bore of 103 mm, this unit features advanced porting geometry and fully calibrated, matched sensors. This throttle body is suitable for naturally aspirated, supercharged, and turbocharged applications. Key performance highlights include a tested motor response, sensor accuracy, and flow characteristics. Although tuning is not strictly required for the throttle body to operate, a calibration is highly recommended to fully extract its performance potential, particularly in high-output engine builds. The interior boasts a 16 Ra microinch diamond-polished finish to reduce friction, and a dimpled trailing-edge shaft is implemented to minimize turbulence. Its velocity-stack style port tapering and upstream bore reduction contribute to smoother airflow.
