Solid Axle Hanger Kit

The Sky's Offroad Chevy S-10 Solid Axle Hanger Kit is a weld-on component designed to facilitate a solid axle conversion for your S-10 Blazer or Pickup. This professional-grade kit requires advanced welding and fabrication skills, along with a thorough understanding of leaf spring suspension systems. While this kit expertly handles the front axle hanging, it does not encompass other essential modifications like driveline, extended brake lines, or steering adjustments. The kit is engineered for axles with a 31.5-inch spring pin center, accommodating common domestic leaf springs. Suitable leaf spring options include Rancho Jeep Wagoner 44044, aftermarket front springs for Chevy trucks, and Jeep Wrangler springs, with a recommended length of 45-47 inches. For longer springs, such as rear Chevy 52s, welding a 2x4 tube across the front frame rails will be necessary for proper support. Constructed from durable materials, the front hanger features laser-cut CNC-formed 1/4-inch outer plates with a 3/16-inch inner crossmember. The rear shackle hangers are a heavy-duty, fully boxed, and tig-welded design, utilizing 5/16-inch laser-cut plate for the shackle plates with a 4.25-inch eye length. The kit includes all necessary hardware for installation, including various sizes of bolts, lock nuts, and washers. This hanger kit is compatible with all 2WD and 4WD S-10 platform vehicles produced between 1981 and 2004. Although primarily designed for the S-10, the weld-on nature of the kit allows for potential use on other applications, such as Ford Rangers and Explorers, at the customer's discretion. Installation involves mounting the springs to the axle, then attaching the hangers to the springs, tacking them in place, and finally fully welding for a secure fit.
