Description

The Crane Cams CRN-280901 is a solid flat tappet camshaft engineered for Pontiac 265-455 V8 engines, offering a mechanical flat tappet design. This camshaft is built for performance, with a basic operating RPM range of 2,600-6,400 RPM. It provides an intake duration of 236 degrees at 0.050 inch lift and an exhaust duration of 247 degrees at 0.050 inch lift. The advertised intake duration is 268 degrees, and the advertised exhaust duration is 284 degrees, with a lift of .416/.416 inches and an LSA of 113.5 degrees. This camshaft is noted as a replacement for the factory 389-421 Super Duty McKellar 10 camshaft and is ideal for street rods, muscle cars, and some street/strip applications.
