The Maximum Motorsports MMEM-2 is a set of solid motor mounts designed for Mustangs with 4.6L and Coyote engines. These mounts eliminate the flex and deformation of stock rubber or urethane mounts, which can slow throttle response and reduce torque delivery. By keeping the engine securely in place, these mounts improve acceleration and handling.

The Maximum Motorsports MMEM-2 solid motor mounts are engineered to address the performance limitations of stock rubber and urethane engine mounts in high-horsepower Mustangs. Stock mounts deform under engine torque, leading to a loss of responsiveness and reduced torque transfer. These solid mounts eliminate that flex, ensuring your engine's power is directly transmitted to the driveline for improved throttle response and acceleration. This new design offers a unique advantage by allowing the installation of the engine 3/4" forward, which is crucial for maintaining clearance for the CMCV controller when installing a Coyote engine. The thick steel construction is built to handle high power levels without the need for additional torque straps. They are designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for stock mounts, simplifying installation. Key applications include 1996-2004 Mustangs equipped with a 4.6L engine (both 2V and 4V variants), as well as Coyote engine swaps into 1996-2004 Mustangs. For 1979-1995 Mustang chassis, these mounts are compatible when used with the MMKM-2.1 K-member for Coyote or 4.6L engine swaps. While recommended for track use, it's important to note that installing solid motor mounts will result in increased Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) within the cabin. Owners opting for these on street-driven Mustangs should be prepared for this trade-off in comfort for enhanced performance.
