The JH Motorsports JHM-STS-B6B7A46 is a high-performance solid short throw shifter engineered to significantly reduce shift throw and enhance the driving experience for specific Audi models. This shifter is proudly designed and built in California, incorporating a steel shaft, solid pivot assembly, Delrin bushings, and new pushdown reverse springs (stock, medium, and stiff) for comprehensive customization. The shifter kit comes completely assembled, retaining the factory shifter knob, and offers three distinct adjustable throw reduction options: 15%, 24%, and 32%, allowing the installer to fine-tune shift feel. Additionally, the knob height is set 1/2" lower than stock as a standard feature. Installation is supported by numerous video guides, including comparison, demonstration, and step-by-step installation procedures, readily available from JH Motorsports. While instructions are not included in the package, these video resources provide clear guidance. The product is designed for Audi C6 A6 and B6-B7 A4 models equipped with the 01X or 02X 6-speed manual transmission. It is crucial to note specific fitment exclusions: this shifter does NOT work on 2002-2003 3.0L V6 A4 models with the 01E manual transmission or on B6 A4 models equipped with the 01A 5-speed transmission. It is compatible with all C6 A6 and B7 A4 models with the 01X or 02X transmission.
