Solid Short Throw Shifter

The JHM Solid Short Throw Shifter is engineered to transform the driving experience in your Audi B8 A4, A5, S4, or S5 (2008-on). This meticulously crafted component replaces the factory's plastic shifter shaft and ball/socket assembly with a robust solid steel weighted shifter shaft and an industry-exclusive steel spherical bearing. This upgrade eliminates the stock shifter's vagueness, providing a more mechanical, race-car-like feel with crisper, cleaner, and smoother shifts. The shifter shaft is 1/2" shorter than stock, offering a 20% or 35% throw reduction, with the latter setting being the default. Three different pushdown reverse springs are included (stock, medium, and stiff) to allow drivers to tailor the reverse lockout resistance to their preference. The shifter is proudly designed and built in California and has undergone real-world testing since 2006. Note: Some components, like the "Bearings for JHM shifters with custom bevel (Aurora)" and specific bases, are not for public sale. This shifter is compatible with all 6-speed JHM shifters but does not fit non-JHM shifters.
