The JHM Solid Short Throw Shifter is a performance upgrade for Audi S4, RS4, and A4 models. It is designed and built in California, featuring a new JHM steel shaft, solid pivot assembly, tig-welded steel lower link, and Delrin bushings. This shifter offers a choice of 25% or 40% reduction in throw length and includes additional springs to customize reverse engagement.

The JHM Solid Short Throw Shifter is engineered to provide a significant improvement over the factory shifter for B6-B7 Audi S4, RS4, and A4 models. It features a new JHM steel shaft, a solid pivot assembly, a tig-welded steel lower link, and Delrin bushings for enhanced durability and precision. This shifter allows for adjustable throw reduction, offering settings for either 25% or 40% shorter throws, with the unit shipping in the popular 40% setting. It also includes multiple pushdown reverse springs (soft, medium, and stiff) to allow users to tailor the reverse engagement feel to their preference, addressing the tendency for accidental engagement. The product is proudly designed and built in California and comes completely assembled, ready for installation into the factory base. It retains the stock shifter knob and features a slightly shorter knob height compared to the stock unit. Installation instructions are not included but can be followed using provided video and document links, with supplemental adjustment procedures available specifically for B6/B7 S4 and RS4 models. This shifter is intended for off-road use only. Fitment includes the Audi S4 B6 (2003-2005) with the 4.2l V8 40v engine, the Audi RS4 B7 (2006-2009) with the 4.2l V8 32v FSI engine, and the Audi S4 B7 (2005.5-2009) with the 4.2l V8 40v engine.
