The Facet 40100N is a solid-state fuel pump engineered to provide consistent and reliable fuel delivery for smooth engine performance. Utilizing advanced electronics, this pump is sealed, ELV compliant, UL certified, and features reverse polarity protection and corrosion resistance. It operates effectively within a wide temperature range of -40°F to +180°F and offers a self-priming capability up to 12 inches of fuel lift. This fuel pump is compatible with all conventional fuels, including gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, blended alcohol fuels, and fuel additives. Its solid-state reliability is a key advantage, as it features no electrical contacts, bearings, or diaphragms to wear out, leading to a service life that can be four to five times longer than many other electronic fuel pumps. The pump's design eliminates vapor lock and provides a constant, smooth fuel supply, even in hot weather or at high altitudes. It also includes pressure relief to prevent flooding and ensure satisfactory restarts. For optimal performance, it is recommended to mount the pump close to the fuel tank and below the liquid level. The Facet 40100N delivers a flow rate of 32 GPH and operates within a pressure range of 4-7 PSI. The unit's all-steel plated case is water-tight and corrosion resistant, having been tested to over 100 hours of salt spray. It is important to note that while this Facet fuel pump is suitable for many applications, it is not FAA approved and is not intended for aircraft use.
