The Tarett Engineering Solid Rear Subframe Kit directly addresses the limitations of factory rubber suspension mounts, which are prone to excessive flex under performance driving conditions. This flex negatively impacts suspension geometry, resulting in an unstable and unpredictable vehicle. By replacing these stock bushings with solid mounts, inspired by factory race car designs, this kit ensures consistent suspension geometry and enhanced stability. The kit is specifically designed to fit all Porsche 996 and 997 models. This RSR-style bushing kit not only eliminates the problematic rubber bushings but also achieves a .5-inch subframe lift within the chassis. This modification effectively lowers the vehicle by .5 inches without compromising or altering the suspension geometry. The kit includes 12 pieces, intended for all six mounting points, providing a comprehensive solution for the rear subframe. Featuring solid mounts, this kit offers a direct and rigid connection, translating to more precise handling and driver feedback. The material specification emphasizes durability and performance under high-stress situations commonly encountered in track driving and spirited road use.
