The Kicker Solo-Baric L7S 15-inch subwoofer is engineered to deliver powerful and accurate bass. Its innovative square cone design provides more cone area than circular subwoofers, enabling it to move more air and generate substantial low frequencies. This model features dual two-ohm voice coils, allowing for flexible wiring configurations. Constructed with an injection-molded polypropylene cone and SoloKon™ 360-degree back bracing, the L7S ensures durability and optimal performance. The heavy-duty motor structure includes a large-diameter spider for reduced flex and superior accuracy, while the high-temp voice coil wire winding contributes to its powerful output. The cast aluminum basket provides a sturdy foundation, and the UniPlate™ back plate with perimeter venting offers excellent thermal management. This subwoofer is recommended for use with a sealed or ported enclosure and requires 1000 watts of RMS power. The specifications include a sensitivity of 89.4 dB 1w/1m and a frequency response of 18-100 Hz. Minimum recommended sealed box volume is 2.0 cubic feet, and minimum recommended ported box volume is 3.0 cubic feet. Mounting depth is 8-11/16 inches, and the square cutout is 13-3/4 inches.
