Sound Deadening Pads

The 3M Sound Deadening Pads (PN 08840) are engineered to enhance vehicle cabin comfort by reducing noise and vibrations. The material is easy to cut to size with simple household tools like scissors, and features a center perforation to facilitate installation in door panels. It can serve as a direct replacement for factory-installed pads or as an added layer of sound dampening. The pads are embossed with a diamond pattern to match OEM standards and can be painted after removing the clear protective film. For a thicker application, multiple pads can be stacked by removing the clear film between layers. Installation requires clean, dry, and grease-free surfaces, and should not be attempted below 40°F. Preheating the pads to 95°F - 115°F can increase conformability and adhesion. It is crucial to note that these pads are for industrial/occupational use only and are not intended for consumer sale or use.
