RetroSound Kick Panels provide a seamless way to integrate additional speakers into your classic vehicle without resorting to cutting holes or making significant interior alterations. Each panel is expertly molded to ensure a perfect fit for your specific application. The design cleverly angles the speaker mount for optimal sound dispersion, directing audio towards the listener for an enhanced sound experience, akin to concert-like imaging. Furthermore, these panels are ready to be painted or wrapped, allowing you to perfectly match your classic car's interior color scheme. These kick panels are designed to accommodate most 6.5-inch speaker systems. However, please note that speaker installation is required, and depending on the size and depth of your chosen speakers, minor trimming or modification of the kick panel may be necessary to ensure proper fitment. RetroSound offers two speaker options: Standard Speakers with ceramic magnets and UV-treated foam surrounds, and Premium Speakers featuring a neodymium magnet structure for high power handling in a slim-mount design (1.8-inch mounting depth) with Santoprene® surrounds for distortion-free sound. For an even greater enhancement, consider adding RetroMat Sound Dampening Material. This easy-to-cut, 1.4mm thick matting features a self-adhesive backing and a 3-ply construction designed to reduce road and wind noise, as well as heat from the vehicle. The material combines a Butyl Rubber Membrane and Closed Cell Foam to minimize exterior noise, squeaks, and rattles, while Aluminum Sheeting provides thermal insulation.
