The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit provides Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Type 952 owners with the ability to control their exhaust system's sound directly from their vehicle's cockpit. This advanced system leverages Akrapovič's proprietary technology, allowing for seamless transitions between a discreet quiet mode and an aggressive, sporty sound. The kit includes a receiver, often integrated into the Akrapovič evolution exhaust system, which actuates valves to manage sound output. Drivers can operate these valves using either the dedicated Sound Remote Controller or a user-friendly smartphone application, available for both iOS and Android devices. It is important to note that the inclusion of the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit will render the ECE type approval for the exhaust system invalid. This means the system, with the sound kit, may not be legal for use in all regions or under all circumstances where type approval is required.
