The Alpine PSS-31GM is a complete direct-fit audio system upgrade engineered specifically for 2014 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks. This comprehensive package transforms your truck's sound by utilizing all factory speaker locations, optimizing interior space, and delivering a powerful audio experience. The system includes all necessary installation hardware, such as speaker adapters and amplifier wiring, ensuring a straightforward integration. The core of the PSS-31GM system is the SPT-31GM speaker package, which upgrades your truck's audio from a standard 2-way to a more nuanced 3-way system. It comprises 8-inch woofers for the front doors, 6.5-inch coaxial speakers for the rear doors, and 3-inch midrange speakers. Complementing these are 1-inch silk dome tweeters housed in specially designed enclosures to provide optimized sound imaging and clarity. A 10-inch zero-space subwoofer, tuned with an included enclosure, delivers deep bass and installs discreetly to the back wall behind the rear seat. Powering this impressive speaker setup is the Alpine MRV-M500 V-Power 5-channel amplifier. This CEA-2006 compliant amplifier delivers robust power, rated at 40 watts RMS x 4 channels plus 150 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms, and scales up to 60 watts RMS x 4 channels plus 250 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohms. The amplifier also offers bridged mode capabilities for enhanced output. This system is compatible with 2014-Up Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks, specifically Crew Cab models. It is not compatible with the Bose factory sound system.
