The South Bend Stage 3 Endurance Clutch Kit is engineered for significantly higher torque capacity than the original factory clutch. It features an SFI-approved pressure plate and a disc with Kevlar-friction material, providing unique static to dynamic ratios of friction coefficients at high energy levels for smooth gear transitions. Built with performance components and torsion springs for damping between the engine and gearbox, this kit is ideal for highly modified street cars, as well as dedicated track, drag, and rally cars that require a clutch capable of withstand extreme abuse. It is also comfortable enough for daily driving. This kit is recommended for use with a single mass flywheel (SMF) if the original design uses a dual mass flywheel (DMF) to optimize performance.
