This Stage 2 Endurance Clutch Kit (NSK1000-HD-OCE) by South Bend Clutch is designed for racing conditions and suitable for daily driving and street use, with an emphasis on Rally and Endurance racing. An SFI approved single mass flywheel is recommended for optimal performance. The clutch system features a precision-balanced pressure plate for vibration-free high-RPM operation and an altered fulcrum for positive disengagement and quick shifts. The disc incorporates a Dual Damped design for accurate control during cornering. It utilizes a hybrid friction material with a full-face Feramic (Sintered Iron) lining on the flywheel side and a high metal content Organic lining on the pressure plate side, providing positive yet buffered engagement due to the high graphite content of the Feramic facings. South Bend Clutch designs these sport compact clutch systems for various driving conditions, including daily commutes, canyon runs, autocross, HPDE, drag passes, and long road trips. The kits are engineered as matched sets, encompassing friction material, facing architecture, diaphragm and cover geometry, hub damping, flywheel mass and finish, hydraulics, pilot/release components, alignment tools, and hardware. This comprehensive approach ensures a wide, predictable engagement window at low speed and fast, clean release at high RPM for crisp synchronized shifts.
