South Bend Clutch kits are engineered as complete systems—disc, pressure plate, hub damping, and flywheel interface—to deliver predictable engagement, consistent torque capacity, and clean release. The Stage 3 SS kit with an organic friction material (SS-O) offers a slightly heavier pedal and like-stock clutch engagement for a balance of streetability and performance. South Bend Clutch is a SFI approved manufacturing, rebuilding, and machining company with four generations of industrial knowledge and experience, ensuring top quality clutch parts, friendly and knowledgeable service, and an inventory network that insures a speedy delivery. This kit is designed to provide smooth take-off, a stable pedal, confident torque hold, and clean release under heat. The engineering focuses on repeatable clamp curves, stable coefficients of friction across temperature, and facing layouts that keep the contact patch flat under load.
