South Bend / DXD Racing Clutch 12-14 Volkswagen Passat 2.5L Stg 3 Drag Clutch Kit

This South Bend Clutch DXD Stage 3 Drag Clutch Kit (KMK5I5F-SS-DXD-B) includes a Single Mass Steel Flywheel (required when the original design is Dual Mass Flywheel) and is built for heavily modified cars in 1/4 and 1/8 mile drag racing. The SFI approved Race Cover pressure plate is engineered for less pedal travel and shorter shift times. The 6-paddle ceramic discs reduce rotational mass and are assembled with high carbon components for maximum strength. The ceramic friction material is graphite impregnated for maximum friction, rapid heat dissipation, and abrupt engagement. These "Race Engineered Pressure Plates (SS)" deliver more transmittable torque and stability, longer life, and superior thermal resistance, as well as better dynamics through higher clamp load. Recommended uses include drag racing, pulling, and drifting.
