The South Bend Stage 2 DRAG Clutch is designed for high power and torque, exceeding factory limits, ideal for drag racing and harsh launches. It features a Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate (precision balanced for vibration-free operation at higher RPMs and increased clamping load) and a puck-style disc with no cushion, ensuring short, quick pedal travel. The puck design reduces rotational mass and increases surface pressure, minimizing inertia for faster torque transfer. The friction material is Graphite Impregnated Ceramic, selected for durability, reduced chatter, heat transfer, and torque capacity. Recommended for drag racing, drifting, and limited street use. When the original design is Dual Mass, a Single Mass SFI approved Flywheel is included.
