This South Bend Clutch Stage 3 Endurance Clutch Kit (Part# K06054-SS-TZ) is recommended for single mass flywheel (SMF) applications when the original design is a Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) to achieve optimal performance. It utilizes a Race Engineered SFI approved pressure plate, similar to the Stage 3 daily package. The clutch disc is specifically designed for circuit racing, incorporating Kevlar friction material due to its unique static to dynamic ratios of friction coefficients at high energy levels, ensuring a perfect transition between gears. The discs are assembled with performance components and equipped with torsion springs to dampen vibrations between the engine and gearbox.
