South Bend / DXD Racing Clutch 97-00 Ford Explorer 4.0L Stg 2 Endurance Clutch Kit

This clutch system is designed for racing. It features a precision-balanced pressure plate for vibration-free operation at high RPM, and an altered pressure plate fulcrum for positive disengagement and quick shifts. The disc has a Dual Damped design for accurate control during acceleration through corners. The friction material is a hybrid, with a full-face Feramic (Sintered Iron) lining on the flywheel side and a high metal content Organic lining on the pressure plate side. Engagement is positive yet buffered due to the high graphite content unique to Feramic facings. Recommended uses are daily driving and street, with an emphasis on Rally and Endurance racing. An SFI-approved single mass flywheel is recommended for optimal performance.
