The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood SP Style is a body panel designed for the Honda S2000 2DR 2000-2009. It is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material. The hood features a two-part construction with a top layer bonded with epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating.

Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hood boasts a two-part construction. The top layer is meticulously bonded to the hood surface with a high-grade epoxy resin, then finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating (Poly Shield) to ensure a high-gloss, durable finish. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell fused to the top layer, enhancing structural integrity. Edges are carefully smoothed by hand for a refined appearance. VIS Racing has enhanced its manufacturing process by implementing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for parts produced since 2014. This method utilizes a single-mold vacuum to create components that are 10-20% lighter while simultaneously improving durability. VIS Racing is transitioning its entire carbon fiber product line to this V.I.P. process to offer these advancements without a significant cost increase. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity. Please note that hood pins are required for installation due to the nature of aftermarket hood applications. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless otherwise permitted by local and state laws.
