Overview

The DeWitts SP460 Dual Fan Kit is a cooling solution designed for GM crossflow radiators with a traditional hat channel design. It features two 11-inch high-performance brushed SPAL fans that move a combined 2,720 cfm of air.

This kit includes custom aluminum mounting brackets for easy installation and two fan wiring harnesses with relays and a temperature switch. The fans are equipped with IP68 rated waterproof and sealed motors and feature low-noise blade designs.

The DeWitts SP460 Dual Fan Kit provides an effective electric cooling fan solution for any GM crossflow radiator featuring the original "hat channel" design. This design adds strength to the radiator core and is used for mounting fan shrouds or securing the radiator. Replacing an engine-driven fan with this electric dual-fan setup offers improved cooling system temperature stability. The fans can be manually controlled or operated via a temperature switch, ensuring optimal cooling whether the vehicle is at speed or idling. Removing the original fan, clutch, and spacer also frees up significant underhood space, which can be beneficial for engine swaps, installing thicker radiators, or serpentine drive conversions. This kit utilizes a pair of 11-inch SPAL electric fans, each capable of moving 2,720 cfm, for a total of 5,440 cfm. The included composite fan shrouds provide substantial radiator core coverage to maximize airflow. Air pressure relief flaps are incorporated to prevent air stalling at speed and close during low-speed driving or when stopped to optimize fan airflow through the core. All SPAL fans in this kit have IP68 rated waterproof and sealed brushed motors with low-noise blade designs. It includes custom aluminum mounting brackets, two fan wiring harnesses with relays, and a 195-degree fan temperature switch for straightforward installation.
