The AudioControl TXJWB12 is a custom-fit loaded subwoofer enclosure meticulously engineered for the Jeep Wrangler JK and JL models from 2007 to 2025. This loaded enclosure features a 12-inch AudioControl Space Series subwoofer with a weather-resistant design and a fiber matrix injection molded polypropylene cone for optimal sound reproduction. It boasts a single 2-ohm voice coil, a frequency response of 20Hz – 250Hz, and handles 400 watts RMS (ideal) within a 200W-600W power range. The enclosure itself is constructed with heavy-duty 11-layer high-density plywood and features a durable, coated steel subwoofer grille for extra protection. The exterior is finished with a Roadkill-Armor Coat, providing resistance to scratches, cracks, leaks, and corrosion, while also offering sound-dampening properties. For JK/JKU vehicles equipped with a factory subwoofer, the factory unit must be removed to ensure clearance. AudioControl recommends ordering two OEM replacement subwoofer delete panels to maintain an original look after removal. The subwoofer's shallow cone design and efficient motor design contribute to its optimal thermal efficiency, ensuring less input for more output.
