The Genuine Volvo spark plug kit, part number 30751806, provides a direct replacement for the original equipment spark plugs in select Volvo vehicles. This kit includes five spark plugs, manufactured in Germany under Volvo's direction, ensuring OE quality. The plugs are pre-gapped to 0.7mm to match factory specifications, simplifying installation. Key specifications for these spark plugs include a 16mm socket size, a 26.5mm thread length, and a tightening torque of 28 Nm. For proper installation, it is recommended to apply a thin coat of dielectric grease to the spark plug connector and ceramic insulator. However, the use of anti-seize compound is not advised by FCP Euro. Symptoms of worn spark plugs can include misfiring, a check engine light, hesitation, loss of power, or poor fuel economy. This kit is compatible with a range of Volvo models, including the C30, C70, S40, S60, V50, and V70, primarily those equipped with T5 or R-Design engines. Specific fitment details are available, and it's noted that some T5 models, despite potentially listing a different part number, may use these 'R' plugs, so VIN verification is recommended.
