The Motorcraft cold spark plug set serves as a performance ignition solution tailored for Ford EcoBoost engines running at elevated cylinder combustion pressures. By providing a heat range one step colder than stock, these plugs enhance combustion efficiency, which is essential for maintaining consistent performance in tuned or high-boost engine applications. Each set includes six spark plugs, pre-gapped at 0.031-inch (0.8mm) to ensure precise ignition timing. Compatibility is specific to certain model years and builds. For the 3.5L EcoBoost engine, this kit fits 2011-2021 F-150 and 2017-2021 F-150 Raptor models built up to July 2021. It is also compatible with 2010-2019 Taurus SHO and Flex 3.5L engines, as well as 2015-2024 F-150 2.7L, 2021-2024 Bronco 2.7L and 2.3L, 2023-2024 Bronco Raptor 3.0L, and 2019-2024 Ranger 2.3L and 2024 2.7L EcoBoost engines.
