The Rugged Ridge Spartacus HD Tire Carrier Wheel Mount is a rear-mounted tire carrier designed for 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL models. It is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coat finish and features a precision die-cast aluminum hinge casting for strength without excess weight. This carrier provides increased load capacity for oversized tires up to 40 inches and allows for one-handed cargo area access while strengthening the tailgate.

The Rugged Ridge Spartacus HD Tire Carrier Wheel Mount is engineered to provide superior strength and stability for mounting oversized wheels and tires on your 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL. Its one-piece design ensures one-handed access to your cargo area and rigidly connects the wheel mount to the reinforced rear quarter panel. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable, textured matte black powder-coat finish, this tire carrier significantly increases load capacity beyond the factory tailgate hinges, reducing wear and extending longevity. The wheel mount itself is designed with adjustable depth and tilt to accommodate large diameter and wide tire options. Rigorously tested to MIL-STD-810 standards for simulated extended off-road driving conditions, it is rated for wheel and tire combinations up to 37 inches. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically completed in under 2 hours with all necessary hardware included and no drilling required. The carrier is compatible with both aftermarket and OE rear bumpers. It is recommended to pair this tire carrier with the Rugged Ridge HD Tailgate Hinge (Part # 11546.56) for optimal performance. Important compatibility notes: This tire carrier is NOT compatible with models equipped with the 4XE Pedestrian Warning Speaker and is also NOT compatible with models featuring the Rubicon 392 Camera Shield.
