The Rockford Fosgate 1040-56811 is a specialized speaker output plug, engineered to provide a reliable and detachable connection for select Rockford Fosgate "Punch" and "Power" series compact amplifiers. It effectively converts the amplifier's 4-pin speaker output port into a terminal that secures bare speaker wires (positive and negative) via a captive compression clamp and set screw. Designed for ease of use, the plug allows for bare wire termination, with the set screw requiring a 1/8" slotted screwdriver for tightening. It is compatible with wire gauges up to 12 AWG and utilizes a quick disconnect connector type. This accessory is suitable for use with many compact Rockford Fosgate amplifiers manufactured from 2011 to the present, including specific models like the M5-1000X1, M5-1500X5, PBR500X1, T500X1br, T750X1bd, and T1000X5ad, as well as their marine-series variants.
