The Metra 72-5600 Speaker Wiring Harness Adapters are designed to facilitate the installation of aftermarket or replacement speakers in a range of vehicles, including select Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Lincoln, and Mercury models. These adapters allow for a direct connection between your new speakers and the vehicle's factory wiring harness, eliminating the need for cutting or splicing wires. Each package contains four harnesses, providing two complete pairs to accommodate multiple speaker installations. The design ensures a plug-and-play experience, connecting directly to aftermarket car speakers. A key feature is the inclusion of a retention tab, which maintains the factory wire retainer for a secure and clean installation. The product is constructed with insulated copper wire and features a 3.5mm jack connector. It is compatible with a wide array of vehicles, specifically noting applications for Ford models such as the F150 and F250 trucks, as well as Mustangs. The compatibility extends to vehicles from 1998 onwards, and also includes Mazda models from 2005-2013.
