Spec 06-08 VW GTi MK V 02Q Stage 3+ Clutch Kit

This Stage 3+ clutch kit is designed for heavily modified street and race engines, offering a manageable engagement for extreme street driving and heavy drag strip use. It can hold 578 lb/ft of torque at the flywheel. The kit replaces the OE Luk S-A-C clutch design with a Grand Am Cup design and requires a SPEC flywheel (SV87S or SV87A) to convert from a dual mass to a single mass performance alternative. It includes all necessary hardware and an install tool. The clutch features a carbon semi-metallic full-faced material for unparalleled life, friction coefficient, and drivability. The sprung hub version (application dependent) is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat-treated components for strength and durability. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, but rather a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly.
