SPEC Chassis

The Roadster Shop SPEC Chassis offers an advanced, engineering-focused approach to upgrading your 1967-1969 Camaro or Firebird. Utilizing high-resolution 3D scanning and exclusive 'Laser Rails', this chassis system is CAD-designed to precisely contour the original floor pan for a 100% bolt-on installation with zero floor modifications. This method creates stronger, lighter, and more precise components than traditional mandrel-bent tubing, avoiding stressed areas prone to flex. The rear features a Parallel 4-Bar suspension system, also with RS SV by Fox coilovers, and a Ford 9" housing with 31-spline axles. This setup accommodates an aggressive 7.25" ride height and is designed to fit up to a 345 tire when mini-tubbed. It includes CNC-located factory mounts for straightforward installation and offers crossmembers and bracing that allow for a 3-inch exhaust system. Engine mounts are available for SBC, BBC, or optional LS & LT engines, and an adjustable, drop-out transmission mount is included. Note that while the chassis is a bolt-on application, transmission tunnel modifications may be necessary for larger T-56 and 4L80 transmissions.
