The RECARO Pole Position (ABE) is a high-performance racing seat that bridges the gap between track capability and street legality. Its shell is constructed from glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP), contributing to its lightweight design. This seat comes equipped with essential features such as lordosis support for enhanced comfort, belt feedthroughs designed for 4-point harnesses (though compatible with 3-point straps), and an integrated headrest for added safety. With ABE and TÜV-Teilegutachten approval, the Pole Position (ABE) meets stringent safety standards. For ABE certification, it must be used in conjunction with a RECARO console and adapter. The seat is approved for use with 4- or 5-point harnesses, and can also be utilized with a standard 3-point harness without requiring a roll bar. Installation appointments can be arranged by contacting termin@sps-motorsport.com. Key specifications include a maximum body weight limit of 100kg and a maximum body height limit of 1.90m. The seat weighs 7.0 kg and is available in black. Note that side mounting hardware is not included with the seat and must be purchased separately.
