SPEED BANDIT AMERICANA CLASSIC X-LARGE

The Speed Bandit Helmet combines Simpson's drag racing design with moto-centric features, revised aerodynamics, and a polycarbonate shell. It has three shell sizes for a reduced outer profile, a "Speed Brow" shell design with low-pressure venturi top venting, and is optimized for upright and sportier 3/4 riding positions. Airflow is maximized with passive chin vents and central rear exhaust ports. The ultra-wide Bandit-style clear face shield has four position detents with a locking feature. The helmet has a removable and washable hypoallergenic comfort liner and cheek pads, double D-ring closure, and uses the Simpson Ghost Bandit face shield (Pinlock anti-fog insert sold separately). It is FMVSS 218 DOT approved and ECE 2205 certified. The cheek pads are designed to accept Bluetooth speakers. Customers have noted that the helmet runs large and recommend sizing down if in between sizes. Thin Bluetooth speakers are recommended due to relatively shallow speaker cutouts. The helmet ships with a clear face shield; tinted face shields are available separately.
