The Boost Logic Speed Density Kit is a plug-and-play solution designed to optimize engine tuning for the R35 Nissan GTR models from 2009 onwards. This kit facilitates a critical step in modifying your GTR for increased performance by enabling a speed density tune. It accurately transfers the intake air temperature (IAT) reading from the intake pipe to the upper intercooler pipe, ensuring precise data for your engine's computer. Installation involves moving the factory IAT sensor from the MAF housing to either the Boost Logic Upper Intercooler Pipes or the factory upper pipes. The kit includes a prewired, loomed, and plug-and-play harness. It also comes with a Nissan factory replacement sensor that combines upgraded IAT and Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor functions, ensuring accurate data readings for your engine program. The pipes included in the kit are designed to route to the intake manifold and feature a flange for your current MAP sensor installation, specifically on the passenger side (Bank 1). This speed density kit is an integral part of transforming your GTR into a high-powered, yet street-drivable vehicle when combined with other bolt-on modifications. It provides the necessary foundation for advanced engine tuning, allowing for more precise fuel and ignition control that can lead to significant performance gains.
