Introducing the Custom Age 625+ head studs from SPEED PERF6RMANC3, engineered to provide superior clamping force and reliability for high-performance engines. These studs boast an exceptional UTS, approaching the 280 ksi limit of the material, and offer enhanced corrosion resistance over previous generations. Each 10mm head stud kit is supplied with new washers and a specialized assembly lube, rigorously tested to ensure the most accurate torque application possible. This proprietary lube is exclusively available through SPEED PERF6RMANC3. A unique dog point feature on the stud accurately positions it within the block, preloading the fastener for precise and consistent torque application. This design prevents compromise to the block during tightening and ensures even distribution across the threads, alleviating stress on the initial thread under load. These head studs are specifically designed for the Ecoboost 2.0L/2.3L engines found in the Ford Focus ST, RS, and Mustang, as well as Mazda MZR-DISI 2.3L engines in the Mazdaspeed3/6.
