Description
This sensor is commonly located at the wheel hub or rotor on vehicles with 4-wheel disc systems. For rear drum applications, it may be mounted on the differential housing. The ABS computer uses the data from this sensor to modulate the anti-lock braking feature during braking events if wheel speeds become unequal, indicating potential wheel lockup.
