Spicer Universal Joint

This OSR (Outside Snap Rings) style U-joint is part of the AAM 1485 series, featuring a 1.375-inch bearing cap diameter and a 4.178-inch distance between retaining rings (G1 and G2). This specific U-joint was commonly used in Dodge Ram Diesels with manual transmissions from approximately 2003 onwards, as well as in various Chevy 1-ton Dually applications. Many of these vehicles came equipped with either AAM or Spicer driveshafts from the factory. It's important to note that the AAM 1485 series is not interchangeable with the Spicer 1480 series; always check the driveshaft yokes or the U-joint itself for markings like 'SPR' or 'SPICER' to confirm the shaft type.
