Split Flow Intake Manifold Center Section

The Drag 113-129-701AQ is a stock replacement intake manifold center section, manufactured by BBT Belgium. This 'Split Flow' design internally divides the mixture flow under the carburetor into left and right channels for optimized delivery. Its slotted flange is compatible with a range of carburetors, including 30, 31, 37, and 39 PICT models, making it suitable for 1300cc, 1500cc, 1600cc, and larger engines. This intake manifold is specifically designed for dual port engines and is intended for use with 34 PICT carburetors. The kit comes complete with everything needed for installation. A crucial note for installation is that this manifold must be used with heat risers connected and properly mounted to the muffler. Without the heat risers connected, the manifold will not be adequately supported and may not maintain its correct position. The Drag 113-129-701AQ is compatible with a variety of Volkswagen models from the early 1970s. This includes the VW Beetle from 1971-1974, the VW Karmann Ghia from 1971-1974, the VW Bus (Type 2) Bay Window specifically for the 1971 model year, and the VW Thing (Type 181) from 1973-1974.
